THE SUFFOLK REGIMENT LIVING HISTORY SOCIETY
World War Two Living History & Re-enactment Society
Although the Society is based around an Infantry Battalion, vehicles played a large part in the British Army of the 1940s. In 1939-40, the British had the only fully-motorised Army in the world, the Germans relying largely on literal horsepower throughout the War.
In the Society, we are fortunate that several of our members own some of these historic vehicles, many of which you will see at events alongside the unit. Below are some links to pages describing the vehicles and what they were used for. More will be added as vehicles presently undergoing restoration come online.
NB: We do not hire out these vehicles as a Society - they are the property of their individual owners. However, we can put you in contact with the owners if there is a wish to discuss their hire/use.
